June 17th Preview

A special night in store for Templum Fidelis as we welcome the summer on June 17th. We will have the great pleasure of receiving a number of visiting brethren from England who have come to Kingston to pay a visit to Templum Fidelis Lodge and enjoy an evening of fellowship and Masonic light. Brother John Mooney will be presenting a Master Mason’s paper for the in-Lodge presentation to be bookended by our musical selections.

The keynote speaker at the agape will be Worshipful Brother Andrew Hammer. Brother Hammer is the Secretary and a Past Master of the venerable Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22 in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a Royal Arch Mason, a Companion of the Allied Masonic Degrees and 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He is a member of the Quatuor Coronati Correspondence Circle, the Philalethes Society, a Board Member of The Masonic Restoration Foundation, author of Observing The Craft, and a well travelled and highly sought after Masonic speaker around North America and beyond.

The agape banquet menu is as follows:
Appetizer: Jumbo coconut shrimp on Asian green salad of mandarins, toasted almonds, spring onion, pea shoots and sesame peanut dressing.

Main: BBQ marinated pork tenderloin with charred pearl onion, bacon port demi-glace, three cheese and chive double baked potato, grilled pepper medley

Dessert: Strawberry shortcake – Fresh brown sugar biscuit, stewed Ontario strawberries, Galliano whipped cream
