Winter Solstice 2016

We will gather at The Bath Masonic Hall for our December meeting on Saturday, December 10th at 4PM. The Lodge, having received a petition and investigated accordingly, has found it proper to invite a candidate to undergo the ceremony of initiation on this date. There is no greater trust or privilege a Lodge can bestow than that of bringing a new Mason into its fold. We look forward to welcoming our new Brother into The Craft.

This is also the annual meeting at which we mark the beginning of winter, conduct our elections to begin the new year with a new slate of officers and reconfirm our commitment to The Craft and Templum Fidelis. The in-Lodge paper will be presented by Worshipful Brother Ian Troyer who will be sharing his exploration of: The sword as a Masonic object; Perspectives on how the edged weapon has evolved as a ceremonial item and an esoteric and philosophical symbol.

As has ever been the case at our December meetings, our guest speaker at the agape will be the District Deputy Grand Master of Frontenac District, this year presenting: Right Worshipful Brother Jeff Gatcke.

The menu for the agape banquet will be as follows:
Starter:      French onion soup, local cheese and herb croutons.
The Main: Prime rib dinner, roasted garlic chive mash, roasted fall vegetables,
yorkshire pudding with shallot port demi glace.
Dessert:     Key lime creme brule with Bread & Butter scotch shortbread.

The members of Templum Fidelis Lodge eagerly anticipate an evening of excellent Masonic discourse, fine fare and sincere fraternal exchange and invite you to join us. Please contact us at at your earliest convenience and prior to Wednesday, December 7th to reserve your place at the agape.
