January 16, 2016

The January meeting marks the annual celebration of renewal with the ceremony of Installation and Investiture. At the December meeting, Brother John Kent was elected as the Worshipful Master Elect of Templum Fidelis Lodge and will be installed at the upcoming January meeting.  The rest of the elected and appointed officers having been invested, the new IPM will be delivering a paper in Lodge.

Brother Ryan J. Flynn from Nashua, NH will be our guest speaker at the agape delivering a paper entitled “The Fine Arts and Masonry, the lost bond”. Brother Flynn is a Masonic artist that has been making the rounds as a guest lecturer on Masonry and the arts in several US jurisdictions, including at the Masonic Restoration Foundations AGM this past summer in Philadelphia. This trip will be his first to a Canadian Lodge.

The table d’hôte menu for the agape is as follows:
Starter: Artisan greens with blueberries, almonds, and feta, Jack Daniels dressing
Main: Cajun crusted haddock, creamy polenta, julienne veg, charred tomato cream sauce
Dessert: Banana and raisin bread pudding, rum sauce

Menu accommodations can be requested with sufficient notice. Please confirm your attendance with Brother Events Coordinator by Tuesday, January 12th.
