New Master and Officers for 2011

Congratulations to Worshipful Brother Tim Barber, the newly installed Master of Templum Fidelis Lodge and the new slate of Officers for 2011. Although the heavy snowfall on Jan 15th kept many of our members and visitors from around the province off the roads, an excellent afternoon and evening was enjoyed by all who were able to attend.

Before handing over the gavel to his successor, Worshipful Brother Ian Troyer presented a paper on the symbolism and significance of food and the banquet in ritual and religion. Two selections of music by Brother Duke Ellington were played in Lodge during the meeting and these have been posted on the music page. The Installation and Investitures being completed, the Lodge was closed by the new Master and the Brethren retired to the agape. For a complete list of the new officers, please visit the About Templum Fidelis page.

Another outstanding meal was topped off by a presentation by Right Worshipful Brother William Lewis on Three Perspectives of Leadership drawing from his considerable experience and expertise as an educator and a leader in the Craft and Canadian Armed Forces. Both papers from the evening are available for viewing in the TF archives.
