Happy 2011 AD / 6011 AL!

Congratulations to Brother Jan Kahlen on being passed to the second degree. The insightful nature of his Entered Apprentice paper together with his excellent ritual work represent a thoughtful and confident stride forward in his Masonic endeavours and we are proud to welcome him as a Fellowcraft Mason.

Congratulations also to Worshipful Brother Tim Barber who was elected the Master Elect of Templum Fidelis Lodge at the December meeting. As we eagerly anticipate the year ahead, we also reflect on the year that has passed and gratefully credit the Master of the Lodge, Worshipful Brother Ian Troyer for all his work and vision in perpetuating the spirit and practices of Templum Fidelis Lodge.

The Lodge will conduct the ceremony of the Installation of the Worshipful Master and Investiture of the Lodge Officers at the upcoming January meeting. We will also enjoy a paper presented in Lodge by Worshipful Brother Ian Troyer discussing food, the banquet ritual and religion and a then paper at the agape presented by Right Worshipful Brother, Colonel Bill Lewis on Leadership theories applied in the Canadian Forces and in the Lodge.

The menu for January 15th is a caesar salad to start, followed by a beef tenderloin served with spiced arugula, toasted walnuts and brie. Dessert is chocolate bread pudding with crème anglais.

The papers presented at the Dec meeting have been posted in the TF.com archives and the musical selections from that meeting have also been posted for your perusal. We would also draw your attention to an article on Templum Fidelis in last months issue of The Trowel, a magazine and e-zine published by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts.
