June 19th, 2010 Meeting Recap

An excellent afternoon and evening of Masonry! As part of his preparation for the Second Degree, Bro. Mark Elkins presented a thoughtful paper in Lodge on his journey thus far into Masonry. It evoked interesting conversation during the agape and was heralded by one and all as a wonderful part of the Traditional Observance process of progressing through the degrees. We eagerly await the paper from our brother Jan Kahlen at the September meeting!

V.W. Bro. Daniel J. Glenney, The Grand Archivist delivered a paper at the agape on the influences and intersections of Freemasonry on the war of 1812. The Grand Archivist presented the paper in such an easy, yet informative fashion that can only be accomplished with a thorough knowledge of any subject. This excellent paper is available for viewing and download in the TF Archives section of the website.

An excellent night of fellowship and Masonic education. We thank all our visitors from across Southern Ontario for making it a special night and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
