March 20th Meeting Recap
An excellent evening of brotherhood and instruction at our meeting on the vernal equinox. The papers presented in Lodge and at the Agape were both historical investigations of two very different periods in the history of Freemasonry and are both here in the TF.com archives for your examination. The paper presented in Lodge by Worshipful Brother Steven Hampton was entitled The Jacobites, Catholics and The Formation of The Grand Lodge of England. The musical selections played before and after the paper in Lodge are listed in the music section of the website.
The banquet at the Agape was characterized by warm fraternal exchange, excellent fare from our friends at Aqua Terra in Kingston and an enlightening paper on Masonic history very relevant to our area. Right Worshipful Brother Robert McBride prepared and presented an historical retrospective of the interwoven relationship of The Craft and our local United Empire Loyalist heritage. The paper entitled An Exploration of the Relationship Between The United Empire Loyalists And Freemasonry in Upper Canada, now Ontario is now available in the archives section of the website for viewing.
We thank all the guests who attended from across Southern Ontario and we look forward to welcoming you to Templum Fidelis again soon!
